Hello and welcome to our blog. Once Upon a Customer Experience was created to spark discussion on what we feel is a lost art here in America — the ART of customer service.

Let’s face it folks; we have very low standards here in the United States when it comes to customer service. If we pull away from the fast food drive-thru with most everything we paid for, we’re ecstatic! If we notice a stain on our shirt at the dry cleaners and the person on the other side of the counter doesn’t bite our head off when we point it out, we’re satisfied. In America we “disrespect” ourselves every time we settle for less than superior customer service, and it’s time to STOP!

In our posts we don’t aim to continuously slam companies or industries for poor service — quite the contrary. We will try to highlight some companies, industries and individuals that get it right! Our mission is to elevate customer service while at the same time vanquishing customer service apathy. Sometimes we’ll praise, sometimes we’ll rant, but we will always try to be entertaining and informative.
